Dewey
It’s me—Dewey! I am about 3 years old, neutered, housebroken, crate trained and a happy, happy guy.
I was turned into the shelter by my family because I liked to run off. I don’t think they understood me very well. They let me out, without a fence and I needed to go see what is out there. While I was in the shelter, I was very shy, reserved and not very interesting to people walking by my cage. I was very sad to be there. Then one day, LRR came, visited with me, thought I was a great guy and loaded me and two other labbies into the car and we went for a nice long ride.
I was a little stressed when I first got to LRR, but quickly realized that this was fun. I love to retriever tennis balls, soccer balls or anything else you could think to throw for me. I bring them right back to you and stand and wait for you to throw them again. I got to spend last weekend and this week playing with Willie, another foster dog and jumping in and out of the baby pool. It was so much fun! I think I would like to do that some more…
I know how to sit and I am well behaved in the house.
