Taylor

Hi, my name is Taylor. I am a 4-5 year old chocolate male. I am up to date on all my shots, neutered, housebroken, and crate trained. I am a very settled dog, but I am overweight.

One night, two LRR volunteers and their two labs were out walking in the park. They found me sitting quietly. They say it was as if I was waiting for my owners to come back for me. The volunteers came up to me and realized that I was a really nice lab who had lost his way. They explained to me that they had to take me to the shelter so that my family would have an opportunity to find me. I agree, all labs should be given the opportunity to find their way back home, cause some times we just get lost and our family can’t seem to find us. People who find stray animals should take them to the shelter. My new friends promised me that if my family did not come get me, they would! And they DID! So, that is how I got lucky enough to become a special LRR dog.

I am on a no-treat, green bean diet to lose some of my weight. LRR thinks I will become more active after I lose 10-15 pounds. I try to play, but it looks like my body just gets in the way. I enjoy playing with tennis balls and chewing bones.
