Thor

I am THOR, a big lab mix. Neither LRR nor the shelter is sure what I am mixed with - maybe setter or some type of hound. But my personality will win you over! LRR says that I stood in the ear and leg line too long and got more than my share. Yes, I am tall, but I am gentle and loving. Unfortunately no rescue was willing to take me since I didn’t fit into any one breed category - and I was about to be put to sleep. I am so thankful that LRR came to get me (and they are too!)

My first Mom adopted me from the shelter when I was just a pup. She kept me for 1 1/2 years. Then she got a new job and felt that I needed more than she could give me, so she took be back to the same shelter. I had good life, and I am good with dogs and kids and just the sweetest boy you would ever want to meet.

My first LRR foster Mom and Dad fell in love with me immediately - I have a magnetic personality! I settled down within the first hour and just laid down and took a nap. I love to follow them around to see all the rooms, and I just lay down and wait for them to go to the next room. We go outside and I will chase the ball, but I won’t bring it back – I am NOT putting it in my mouth!

My perfect home will have real dog people in it. Someone that just wants to be my buddy. I love to just hang out and go for car rides, I like to go for walks too. I will follow you all around the yard, help you in the garage and sit with you while you work at the computer. I am good company.

So let LRR know if you would consider me. I hope that being mixed will not keep someone from wanting me!
