My name is Kate, I am about 1 1/2 years old - a black female lab/rottie mix. I am spayed, housebroken, crate trained and ready to be adopted.
I was a stray from a shelter in VA. My first LRR foster home took me in and got me to the vet, only to find out that I was heartworm positive. Well, that was no big deal, I am young and healthy and I have had my treatment and did very well. So I am now on regular heartworm preventative.
My current foster mom says I am sweet, happy, loveable and silly. I love to play with other dogs and I am still a bit of a puppy. I am a medium energy dog, but I do like to play and I am leraning to retrieve tennis balls. At night sometimes, I don’t want to settle down ‘cause I want to play, but once I do get in my crate I settle nicely and sleep through the night.
So, if you think I might be a good addition to your home, and you have a dog for me to play with, please send in your application to LRR. I’m waiting!
