Sam

Sam, I AM— although my foster parents keep calling me “Hey Good Lookin”. They say it is because I am so handsome and such a wonderful dog. I am pale yellow with a teddy bear face and a muscular body. I am a healthy male, 6 years old, neutered and weigh in at 85 lbs. I am house broken, crate-trained and up to date on all my shots.

My former owner had some financial setbacks and could no longer keep me and my brother, Midnight (be sure to read Midnight’s bio - he’s great too). He was very concerned for our welfare and contacted LRR. Midnight and I spent our first few days together at LRR and then went on our separate voyages. We are both doing great and having excellent experiences.

Our past owner took excellent care of us. Both of us had everything we needed, we got great vet care and we know we were loved.

All of my foster parents have told me that I am a very special guy. They constantly tell me (and anyone who will listen) how terrific I am. I never jump on people; I share my toys and my snacks. I am a happy fellow; my constantly wagging tail demonstrates that to everyone. I have a very even tempered disposition, like meeting new people and going to new places. I love to play with other dogs, large or small, love to go for walks and I especially love to snuggle. Little kids are good too, I am very gentle with them. There is not much I don’t like………well, except maybe swimming. I like to get my feet wet, but the dogs I am staying with right now have their own pool and love to swim. Me, not so much; but I do like to sunbathe and watch them. I love hanging with the guys.

“Easy does it” is my philosophy; so if you want an all around good guy who goes with the flow, I am the one for you. I will wait for you to come home, greet you at the door, sit at your feet, walk anywhere you’d like to go, play with you, listen to your troubles and give you kisses.
