Macy

Hi folks, my name is Macy. I am a cute, black female, age 4. I’m spayed, up to date on my shots, housebroken, crate trained, and I weigh 77lbs. I was a give up to the local shelter, so I am happy as a clam to be with LRR.

My family was having some problems, so they took me to the local shelter. My family consisted of another dog, and some kids, and Mom and Dad. I don’t know what the problems were, but I am very happy that LRR came to get me.

At the shelter I was really scared, so I wasn’t doing very well in the kennel. People weren’t looking at me or considering me because I was so scared–but what would you expect, I had never been away from my family before and I have never been in a noisy kennel either.

So, a nice lady from LRR came to visit me. She liked me and I liked her. I leaned on her, and she petted me, I was so happy to leave with her. Then I went to my first foster home. I got some shots, and I got spayed, and met lots of dogs.

As with most dogs, I have one little, tiny quirk - I bark at people when I first meet them. But once they come in and sit down I am leaning on them and giving kisses. So, if you are lucky enough to get to meet me, remember, I might bark at you once or twice.

I love to play with squeeky toys and my chew bones. I also like to relax in my crate. I love to ride in the car!

My ideal home would be one with another dog, but not a crazy dog, just a nice settled dog. I would love to live with some people that will take me for rides and play with me. I would prefer a quiet household too….maybe we could just chill out and watch movies, chat a bit, cuddle, you know that laid back kind of stuff.
