Herbie
Hello out there my name is Herbie! My foster family called me Herbie the Love Bug because I am so cuddly. I am a two to three year old yellow neutered male, who is about 70 pounds. I am housebroken, up to date on all my shots and crate trained. I am also pretty good on a leash.
My journey to LRR is a sad one, LRR was called by a local shelter when I wandered in one day. I had quite a few cuts and bruises. The shelter took me to the vet got my boo boos looked at, cleaned up, stapled up and I had X-rays to make sure all was well. They called it road rash consistent with being hit by a car. The shelter waited the week holding period thinking that someone would come looking for me. Not much to their surprise, no one came for me so they called LRR. LRR took one look at my great personality and took me in, bumps, bruises and all. I am on my way to recovery with no apparent side effects of the accident. The shelter had been calling me Beave (such a harsh name), but my foster mom thought Herbie was a much more appropriate name for my adventures and loveable personality.
My foster mom tells me I am a goofy little guy. Unlike my foster brothers, I don’t like to run after the ball, why should I when I can sit next to my family and get an ear rub (those are my favorite). I love to explore outside, but once I am done I prefer to come inside and watch a movie or cuddle on your lap . As you can see from my photos I am a very happy guy, but I will be happier when I finally find my forever home out of harms way. I get along with other dogs but they really aren
