Jilli
Hi there everyone… I’m Jilli and I’m a 6-year old yellow female. I was brought to the shelter by my owner because he didn’t have enough time to take care of me. I didn’t like the shelter - I was a little afraid of all the other dogs and noises, and I didn’t know what was going to happen to me. Fortunately, the nice people there recognized what a nice, sweet, girl I am, and they called LRR to come get me and find me a new home.
Reese
My name is Reese (Reesie), as in Reese’s Peanut Butter cups. I am a sweet little Chocolate girl, so my name is very fitting!
Evie
Hello - my name is Evie. LRR rescued me from a shelter after I was found locked in a park bathroom. Nobody can believe that someone would lock their labbie in a bathroom and just abandon them. Oh well. Now, I will have an opportunity to find a real forever home.
Cheyna
My name is Cheyna. I am a 4 yr old yellow female. I am spayed, housebroken, crate trained and have all my shots. My owners turned me into the shelter since they didn’t have time for me anymore.
Gypsy
Hey, aren’t I a cutie?? Well, I was born on 3/28/03 and I only spent 2 weeks with my first family. They said I was too much for them to handle - who would have thought that - I thought ALL puppies were a lot to handle. Oh, I am a black female, and I will be spayed on 6/27. I have all my shots and I am crate trained and housebroken - my foster mom is very happy about that!
Katy
My name is Katy. I am a little yellow female, about 2-3 years old. Someone found me and took me to the shelter - and upon arrival, I gave birth to a litter of pups. The shelter let me raise my babies, they all got new homes. Then I was spayed, got all my shots and LRR took me.
Moe
My name is Moe. I am a 3 year old black male, neutered, housebroken, crate trained, good with dogs and I love people. I am a sweet, settled, nice boy.
Barney
Yep, I am the Barney that Betty was talking about (I think that LRR thought we were the Rubbles and we were from Bedrock). Anyway, I am 3-4 yrs old, and very fat… I have a fatty lump that has to be removed too. I will be so glad when LRR sends me to their labbie fat farm - I will feel so much better.
Roxie
My name is Roxie. I am about 2 years old. I am a black female and I came from a local shelter, where my time was up… I am really happy that LRR saw me and wanted me! I have been spayed, I have all my shots and i have a beautiful coat. My only problem is that i wag my tail too much - and when it bangs on things, it gets hurt on the end. I try so hard not to wag it so much - but you just don’t know how happy i am and that is my way of showing it!
Bogey/Waldo
WHERE’S WALDO?! For a while I thought no one knew where I was!!! I spent more than a month in the shelter. My owners gave me to the shelter because I kept jumping the short fence. Well, what would you expect, I had nothing else to do all day. So, they tied me up at the shelter one night and left me there.
Lady
My name is Lady. Some of the LRR people call me Ladybug. I think it’s because I am cute and little. I am about 2-3 years old, a yellow female, and small - I only weigh 50 lbs.
Max
Hi, I’m Max, a beautiful, 2 year old, black male. I have been in the LRR system for sometime, I am getting some extra training that I desperately need.
Bubba
Does my name fit me? You decide! I am a 3 yr old, very handsome, chocolate male. I am neutered, crate trained, housebroken, good with dogs and I love people.
George
I’m George, and I am a bit sad. My family took me to a boarding kennel for the holidays and never came back to get me. The kennel people had to write them letters and lots of legal stuff, they still didn’t come. So, I was taken to the shelter.
Mousse
My name is Mousse - as in “chocolate”… ‘cause I am a cute chocolate girl abut 6 months old. Chelsea and Bubba are my Mommy and Daddy. I am just like my Daddy - I too am pushover and a scaredy cat.
Peewee
What a name they gave me! I am a small black male, I only weigh 47lbs. So, I guess I am a “PeeWee”. Anyway, I was a stray from a local shelter and I was so cute that LRR couldn’t resist me. LRR and the vet think that I am about 8 months to 1 year old. So, I am a young one - but I will make someone a wonderful companion.
